There were some reports that Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert’s plane was headed towards Miami. Of course this was like pouring gasoline onto the LeBron James returning to the Cavaliers rumors.
Every Cavaliers fan around the country logged on to the internet to track the flight, and analyze the flight data. Apparently the tracking of the flight on social media led to many to compare it to the famous car chase involving O.J. Simpson and that famous white Ford Bronco during a murder investigation.
And some people on Twitter all made the same reference/connection.
This @cavsdan plane watch is as infatuating as OJ's white Bronco! Why hasn't CNN picked this up?!

@CLEsportsTalk This is just how the OJ white Ford Bronco chase would have gone if Twitter was around in 1994.

We should have rented a helicopter so we could follow Gilbert's car like it's OJ's white Bronco.

Tracking @cavsdan plane is better than watching OJ Simpson's white bronco being chased by police on live tv. #cavs #comehomelbj @KingJames
