It’s award season in college football as the watch lists for 15 different awards are in the process of being unveiled over the next two weeks. Today, the watch list for the Rimington Trophy was one of the awards to release the candidates to take home the honor as the nation’s top center.

There was no shortage of candidates as 66 pivots were named to the list with 40 being seniors, 22 are juniors and the final four in their sophomore season.

Two finalists (Reese Dismukes and Hroniss Grassu) from last season when Florida State’s Travis Stork won and Grassu is my pick to win this year and is head and shoulders the top center in the nation and a potential late-first round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
