James rejoins his hometown team after spending the last four seasons with the Miami Heat to the delight of an entire state who welcomes their prodigal son back home.
The addition of James to the Cavaliers instantly made them the betting line favorite to win the NBA Championship next season and also means heās working in the same city as his buddy and Cleveland Browns quarterback, Johnny Manziel, who expressed his unbridled enthusiasm via twitter after the news broke.
Manzielās reaction was basically the same reaction the citizens of Ohio had when the Akron native returned home.
Does any other city have two stars who command as much media attention as Manziel and LeBron?

New York, Chicago and Los Angeles each have stars in the four professional sports, but I donāt know if the combination of Derek Jeter/Carmelo Anthony, Derrick Rose/Jonathan Toews and Kobe Bryant and Mike Trout captivate the masses across the nation in the same way that the polarizing duo of James and Manziel do.
Get ready for the city of Cleveland to be the center of the ESPN universe and for reporters to be camped outside the practice facilities of both the Browns and Cavaliers for the foreseeable future. Buckle up because if youāre a sports fan, and I think that you are, this is going to be a fun ride.
