The former quarterback for the Denver Broncos, New York Jets and New England Patriots will be a part of the new SEC network after his NFL career stalled out and has not played in a regular season game since 2012, but one of his new neighbors could get him back on the gridiron.
Orlando Predators owner, David Siegel is one of Tebow’s neighbors, whose 6,525-square-foot home sits on the Glen Kernan Golf and Country Club, and hopes he will make a return to the field and suit up for the Arena League team.
"“If anyone knows Tim Tebow, tell him to call me,” Siegel told reporters on Tuesday. “The team number is 844-455-PRED.”"
A return to the football field in the Arena League may not be an option for Tebow who is excited about his role with the SEC Network, although is allows him to pursue playing opportunities, that makes its debut on August 14 and airs its first game on Aug. 28, but Tebow has been hesitant to officially call it a career.
“I feel like I’m the best that I’ve ever been as a quarterback right now, I hope I get the opportunity to show that,” he told ESPN in January. “But I’m also looking forward to being part of ‘SEC Nation’ and part of ESPN.”
