Two weeks ago, Peters released his top five schools and had a new leader with Alabama overtaking the in-state program. When Peters released his top 10 schools on May 24 he had Mississippi State and Florida State occupying the top two spots with LSU and Alabama rounding out his top four schools.
His new top five had Alabama surpassing the in-state program as Mississippi State dropped to No. 2, Florida State at No. 3, Ole Miss at No. 4 and LSU rounding out the top 5.
Peters joins Justin Johnson, Alec Murphy, Nick Gibson, Jonnas Spivey and Jonathan Calvin who committed today to Dan Mullen for his 2015 class that now has 24 commitments.
With the addition of Peters, who is now the highest-ranked recruit on the board, Mississippi State has commitment from two of the top four recruits in the Magnolia state, four of the top eight and 10 of the top 23 recruits in the state.
The flurry of commitments on Friday has seen the Bulldogs rise five spots up the 247Sports team rankings and now Mississippi State boasts the No. 9 class in the nation and the No. 6 class in the SEC.
