NFL Power Rankings: Packers, Steelers, 5 teams on the rise

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-12 in 2013)
The NFC South might be looking over their shoulders for the Buccaneers soon. They may not immediately take a run at the division in Lovie Smith’s first year as head coach but if Josh McCown is as good as he was in Chicago, they’re looking at some seasons of steady improvement.
The Buccaneers improved this offseason via free agency and the draft. The Tampa Bay offense should benefit with a healthy Doug Martin as well as the receiving combo of Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans. On the defensive side of the ball the loss of Darrelle Revis will not be so bad with the addition of Alterraun Verner. While coaching isn’t everything because games aren’t exactly won from the sidelines, Lovie Smith could do for the Bucs what Andy Reid did for the Chiefs last season. Bucs fans should have a reason to be excited for this season.
