The ACC Kickoff is being held this week, and one of the things that folks look forward to the most is the voting on the preseason pick to take home the conference when all is said and done. Well this year, there really wasn’t any suspense as to who would be tabbed as the favorite, and it was indeed the Florida State Seminoles that are the front runner.

Also, in another non-surprise, Jameis Winston was named the preseason Player of the Year favorite.

What actually might be shocking is the fact that Winston was not a unanimous pick for Player of the Year, but Beasley has earned the right to collect some votes for himself.

The ‘Noles will be looking to repeat as the national champions this season after they made history during the 2013 campaign. En route to their title and 14-0 season, FSU ended the seven-year national title run of the SEC when they defeated the Auburn Tigers out in Pasadena.
With Winston back, plus the plethora of young talent around him, they should be the preseason favorite to win it all once again.
