Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel has had an eventful summer, filled with controversy. From photos of him partying in Las Vegas to rolling up a twenty dollar bill in a bathroom, it has thrust him into the spot light for all the wrong reasons.

Browns head coach Mike Pettine isn’t worried about it though, and thinks all that will go away quietly when the season starts.
“I don’t want to get into a (public) discussion of every picture that comes out,” said Pettine, via Cleveland.com. “But we anticipate this will quiet down once the season starts. As committed as Johnny is to football, this stuff should not be an issue once camp gets underway.”
This certainly isn’t the first offseason filled with controversy for Manziel and he put all that behind him to have a solid 2013 season. In fact, his completion percentage, yards passed, touchdowns and rating all went up in 2013 from his Heisman Trophy winning season in 2012. The one difference between the 2012 season and 2013 season for Manziel was the drop off in his running game.
Rookies, including Manziel, will report to training camp on Wednesday.
