Ever wanted to work in an NBA front office? Well, the Philadelphia 76ers are your team then. The Sixers, who may offering up the first of its kind have decided to post an open job call to fill vacant positions in their front office including working directly with the coaches and players.

More from NBA

While there are standard jobs available that all NBA teams hire for, there are also open opportunities to join the franchise as a video coordinator and as a member of the player development staff.

As you may recall, Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra once began his career as a video coordinator so it’s safe to say you can certainly work yourself up from the position. More shocking than the video coordinator ad though is the player development opening who the Sixers state will work directly with the front office at the Wells Fargo Center.

"The Philadelphia 76ers are looking to add a talented new member to the team.  This person will work intimately with the coaching staff and front office.  The candidate should have experience helping players improve.  Physical ability to assist during practice is required.  A background in coaching is desirable as is experience working with collegiate or professional players.  We are looking for strong communicators with a passion for teaching."

So what’s required of you? Well, the Philadelphia 76ers aren’t saying though they do want to know if you have any previous collegiate or professional coaching experience (obviously, NBA 2K totally counts). In addition they want to make sure you’re physically able to handle the rigors of an NBA practice and want to know what type of salary you’ll be needing.
