The 6-4, 260-pound Jacobs is the nation’s No. 1,370 recruit overall regardless of position, No. 81 defensive tackle and the No. 70 recruit in the state of Louisiana, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Jacobs has been an integral part of his high school team that has won a state championship in each of the past two seasons and is shooting for a three-peat this fall. He is the the second defensive tackle, joining four-star recruit Marquise Overton (Jenks, Ok. Jenks).
Oklahoma now has eight commitments in the 2015 class that ranks No. 40 in the nation and No. 5 in the Big 12, according to the 247Sports team rankings.
The Sooners should made a steady climb up the rankings as they are one of the smaller classes at the moment and should see their eight commitments swell to more than 20 as the fall wears on and the Sooners compete for the top spot in tje Big 12 standings with Trevor Knight poised for a stellar sophomore season.
Bob Stoops’ team is predicted to challenge Baylor and Kansas State for conference supremacy this fall and winter, so if the Sooners finish with another strong season, the recruits should follow Jacobs to Norman.
