The team unveiled a special commemorative patch that will be worn on their jerseys during the season.
We will first see the patch on the uniforms in the team’s regular season opener on Monday Night Football against the New York Giants on Sept. 8 at Ford Field.
The patch is a black football with team colored stripes behind the initials “WCF.”
Lions writer Tim Twentyman showed off a photo of the patch on social media earlier this week.
