LeBron James plays piano with Lang Lang (Video)

We all know LeBron James is a master on the basketball court, but what about with musical instruments? We know he likes to rock a mic every so often but can he play a traditional instrument like a guitar? What about playing piano?

Unlike many children, he probably wasn’t pushed by his mother to partake in such an activity considering he was better than most high school basketball players at age seven. Given that, I’m guessing LeBron James never learned to play piano.
Also helping me make that judgement was a recent video of the Cleveland Cavaliers forward which captured the NBA icon ‘playing’ piano with world renowned artist Lang Lang.
The 32-year-old pianist was a guest during a recent press event for LeBron James and busted out his piano skills while the Akron native watched from the opposing side of the stage. Not one to let the opportunity pass him by, James made his way to Lang Lang and sat down next to the keyboard talent who informed him when and what keys to press during his set.
Lang Lang began playing pieces of his show and then informed James to hit particular keys before continuing on.
James, for what it’s worth, looked like a deer in headlights as he wasn’t sure what he was doing exactly other than mashing the ivory, but everything turned out sounding pretty nice in the end.
I wouldn’t say LeBron has a career outside of the NBA playing piano, but he seemed to hold his own rather well.
