Johnny Manziel has been the center of attention at the Cleveland Browns training camp thus far, and he has yet to make a big impact on the field.

Although Manziel has not been playing exceptional by any means, he has not been given many opportunities to shine with the first team in practice. Through much of the first weeks of practice, Brian Hoyer has been taking nearly all of the first team snaps, and has looked impressive in doing so.
Of course, Hoyer is not the electric athlete and playmaker that Manziel has the potential to be, so the team will be giving Manziel an opportunity to work with the first team in the coming days, according to Rotoworld.
According to Browns offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, he does not believe that the quarterback competition is over by any means:
"I don’t think one is ahead of the other. I hope one will make the decision easy on us."
It is still hard to believe that Manziel will be the week 1 starter for the Browns, but if he makes the most of his first team snaps, he certainly has the potential to steal the starting job from Hoyer.
There is no doubt that the pressure is on the Cleveland Browns staff to give Manziel all the opportunity in the world to become the starter. The facts are simple, Manziel is a media magnet which is great for business, but he must be able to produce on the field. If he can, the Browns may have finally found their franchise quarterback.
