The NFL preseason is underway for the 2014 campaign, and the first team that made it onto the scoreboard was the Buffalo Bills. No, it wasn’t a dynamic touchdown from rookie Sammy Watkins like everyone maybe had hoped to see, but it was points on the board to give them the early lead over the New York Giants nonetheless.
Bills kicker Dan Carpenter nailed through this 30-yard field goal with 7:53 to go in the first quarter on the second possession of the game for the team.
Here are the first three points of the NFL preseason.
If you’re a die-hard football fan, then just this simple field goal gets you excited, just for the simple fact that it means the game of football is back in our lives officially.
