Although Chris Bosh and LeBron James seemingly enjoyed the process of free agency, Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade wanted no part of the courtships.

While James made his way to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Bosh was seemingly hours away from signing with the Houston Rockets, Wade, who has spent his entire career in South Beach instructed his agent that he didn’t want to leave the Miami Heat no matter what happened.
According to Bleacher Report’s Ethan Skolnick, Wade’s agent Henry Thomas (who ironically represents Chris Bosh as well) was informed by Dwayne Wade that he didn’t want his name circulated around the free agent market.
"There was never any question as to where Dwyane Wade would be playing this coming season or, at least, there shouldn’t have been.He adamantly instructed his agent to keep his name out of conversations with other organizations and involved himself in free agency only to reach out to Pau Gasol to see if the veteran had any interest in joining what was then still a Miami Heat “Big Three.”"
Although Wade’s instructions were likely followed by Thomas, it still didn’t keep the former Marquette star completely out of the market as there were rumors that the Chicago Bulls had interest once James decided to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
That was likely nothing more than members of the media drumming up a non-story however as Dwyane Wade quickly re-signed with the Heat once James departed.
Nice to see a little loyalty in a league where players often run to the nearest cash grab.
