The Minnesota Timberwolves are preparing to pull off the Kevin Love trade that sends their superstar to Cleveland to becomes the Cavaliers new superstar but Love isn’t the only player the Wolves are trying to move.

More from Minnesota Timberwolves

J.J. Barea has a bad contract with the Wolves and he’s a guy that the team would much rather part ways with than work something out with, but that’s a task a lot easier said that done. It was rumored that Barea could be part of a three-team deal for Love, but ESPN1500’s Darren Wolfson doesn’t believe Barea can be traded because no one will want him.

The Wolves want to dump Barea badly but they may end up keeping him simply because they have to and no one else wants to take him on and help them out. He’s Minnesota’s problem and he’s one that the team is hoping will work itself out and make an uncomfortable situation a little more pleasant than it has been in recent months.
