Minnesota Timberwolves' 2014 preseason schedule

The Minnesota Timberwolves have been the most discussed team off the offseason but not for the reasons they’d like.

The Timberwolves have resigned themselves to the fact they will have to deal star power forward Kevin Love. Love can opt out of the final year of his deal after the 2014-2015 season and has stated he will be doing just that. The Timberwolves can wait until the trade deadline to deal him and if they don’t, they risk losing him for nothing.

However, it looks like a deal will be done before that. The Timberwolves and Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly have a hand-shake agreement on a deal that will send Love to the Cavaliers to team up with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving while the Timberwolves will be receiving a packaged headlined by the number one overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft, former Kansas Jayhawks’ swingman Andrew Wiggins. The number one pick of the 2013 draft, forward Anthony Bennett, will also be involved but he may be going to the Philadelphia 76ers with veteran Thaddeus Young coming back to the Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves have officially announced their preseason schedule, which will begin with a road game against the Indiana Pacers on October 7 before returning home for a game against the Philadelphia 76ers. They also have games at non-NBA arenas, which are always entertaining. The complete schedule is as follows:
