The city of Cleveland is at the center of the sports universe on Thursday as the Cleveland Cavaliers agreed to a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves to pair Kevin Love with LeBron James, and in Browns training camp, Johnny Manziel remains the most talked about player in the NFL despite never playing a down.

Manziel is in a dog fight with Brian Hoyer for the starting quarterback job and despite receiving some first team reps earlier this week in practice will be the backup to Hoyer for the team’s preseason opener.
Nevertheless, the talk about Manziel starting the team’s Week 1 opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers will not die down and in fact, the 2012 Heisman winner has a big fan in James who stopped by Browns practice on Thursday to hang out with his friend and potential franchise quarterback for the Browns.
No word on whether the Browns are bringing in James for a workout to help fill the void left at wide receiver in the wake of Josh Gordon facing a yearlong suspension. James was a standout wide receiver at Saint Vincent-Saint Mary high school in Akron early in his high school career before focusing solely on basketball.
All jokes aside, the pairing of Manziel and James in the city of Cleveland will be a dream for reporters, columnists and TV and radio personalities in the city and state of Ohio as they arguably have two of the more marquee athletes in all of professional sports.
