Michigan wearing this alternate jersey for Penn State game? (Photo)
Michigan is playing only the third home game in program history when the Wolverines welcome James Franklin, Christian Hackenberg and the Penn State Nittany Lions to the Big House on Oct. 11 and they could have a new alternate jersey for the affair.
MaizenBrew football editor Joshua Henschke tweeted out the evidence that Michigan could be altering their classic uniform for the game vs. the Nittany Lions.
Michigan last unveiled an alternate jersey when they played Notre Dame under the lights in Ann Arbor in 2011, in a game that was an instant classic, and this year’s game vs. Penn State may be as well considering the way last year’s game played out.

The Wolverines went to quadruple overtime against the Nittany Lions last year when Michigan lost a 10-point lead in the final six minutes of the fourth quarter and allowed Hackenberg to tie the game at 34 with 27 seconds remaining to force overtime.
After seeing the kickers ratchet up the blood pressure of both fan bases in overtime, Penn State escaped with the 45-42 win, so Michigan will be out for revenge this year, and in new uniforms potentially.
I’m not sure what to make of the look, so what do you think about the alternate jersey design that could be unveiled in front of 110,000 college football fans in around two months?
