From Friday night’s preseason action, Marcell Dareus turns into a one-man wrecking crew on this would-be running play by the Carolina Panthers. First Dareus blows up “blocker” Nate Chandler, then after righting himself, Dareus tracks down running back Kenjon Barner and stuffs him.

More from Buffalo Bills

Safe to say, the Panthers did not adequately account for Dareus on that particular play. Dareus destroys the only person with a chance to block him, and even after that massive collision, still easily finds the running back and goes low to bring him down.

Text book example of how to completely wreck a running play. Dog gotta eat on that one. Dareus is the dog and the Panthers are his meat. Dareus had his meat and then got to howl.

The Bills do have a pretty salty defense with some very entertaining players (too bad about Kiko Alonso or it would be even better). But, can they put together an offense with E.J. Manuel playing quarterback? How long are the Bills going to go without a real quarterback? It’s been forever up there.
