The Buffalo Bills are up for sale, but it doesn’t seem like there are too many people willing to buy them. That’s not to say there aren’t buyers out there for the Bills, but they’re just not willing to pay the insane amount of money that the Bills are being valued at by the media.

In the wake of the $2 billion sale of the Los Angeles Clippers, there has been fear that sports franchises will inflate in value, which is something we’re seeing in reports that the Bills are valued at over $1 billion, but those trying to buy the team aren’t throwing anywhere near that kind of cash at the Bills.
According to Forbes writer Mike Ozanian, all offers that have come in for the Buffalo Bills have been well under $1 billion, with the Bon Jovi group coming in at under $800 million.
"As of right now the three groups that I have confirmed with sources as having submitted bids for the Buffalo Bills have offered less than $1 billion for the NFL team.Donald Trump has offered in the mid-$800 million territory, and Terry Pegula and Bon Jovi have both offered well under $1 billion, according to sources familiar withe the bids."
The report doesn’t give specific numbers on the exact bids, but it’s not hard to believe that the Bon Jovi group came in with a low bid as they had to resubmit their bid to hit a more acceptable number. It could be that the Bills are the team we’re talking about or it could be a common sense market, but the $2 billion sale of the Clippers hasn’t corrupted the market the way it looked a few months ago.
