Green Bay Packers TE Brandon Bostick ‘fine’ after injury
By Bryan Rose
The Green Bay Packers will enter the 2014 season with one of the deeper rosters in the NFL, though there continues to be a looming question mark at tight end.

For the past handful of years, Jermichel Finley was a staple in the Green Bay Packers lineup and was a favorite target of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. However, Finley, who suffered what many thought to be a career ending injury (and still could possibly be) remains a free agent and his return to the Green Bay Packers is questionable at best.
That leaves the Packers with a rotation of tight end’s including Brandon Bostick, who many feel will be the favorite to replace Finley in the ‘move’ position. Of course, those folks who believe such were given a scare on Saturday night after Bostick was injured, though the tight end says he’s ‘fine’ and not to worry.
There aren’t a lot of options for the Packers right now at tight end, so Brandon Bostick appears to be the most likely candidate to receive the most playing time (and targets) currently. Of course, Bostick left plenty to be desired last season when he took over for Finley so he’s certainly no sure thing if he starts slow out of the gates.
Rookie tight end Richard Rodgers seems to have the best opportunity to beat out Bostick if things were to go sour, especially given that he has started both of Green Bay’s preseason games through the first two weeks. He’s not much of a pass catcher though and has yet to form much chemistry with Aaron Rodgers in practice.
