Baltimore Ravens rookie linebacker CJ Mosley has looked stellar thus far in the NFL preseason and training camp. The former University of Alabama standout was drafted by the Ravens No. 17 overall in this past May’s NFL draft in hopes of him becoming the next great Ravens defensive player.

While it is certainly too early to determine how great Mosley can be, he has shown quite a lot of promise while displaying his defensive prowess during his time on the field. His play thus far has Mosley in line to start week 1 for the Ravens against the Cincinnati Bengals, and has fans and pundits alike believing that he can become a future force in the NFL.

When Mosley thinks about the great defensive players that have suited up for the Ravens such as Ed Reed, Haloti Ngata, and Ray Lewis, he begins to think about the legacy he could leave in Baltimore when it is all said and done.

“I think about the legacy that started with the Ravens, and the legacy I have the potential to leave for myself,” Mosley told the Baltimore Ravens. “If I keep doing what I’m doing now and God keeps blessing me, then yeah,” Mosley continued. “I have no limitations on myself. The only thing that can stop me, besides injuries, is me.”

With Mosley’s confidence at an all-time high, the Ravens and their fans can look forward to a breakout rookie season for the linebacker. Once the season concludes, we will have a better understanding of just how good Mosley can be.
