Anthony Bennett doesn’t care what team he is traded to
By Bryan Rose
In a matter of days, it appears that Anthony Bennett, the No. 1 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft will be traded away from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Will he be staying there though? That’s a question that many have asked after rumors broke suggesting that Bennett could potentially be shipped to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Thaddeus Young. There’s been no official confirmation of such at this point and it’s unknown if the two sides will go through with the trade once Bennett is presumably moved to the T’Wolves.
As for Anthony Bennett himself, he doesn’t seem to care where he plays as he just wants to get back onto the court.
“Wherever I end up, doesn’t really matter to me. I just want to play the game of basketball.”
Bennett, who has reportedly lost around 15 to 20 pounds (he looked might lighter during summer league) says he is ready to make his woeful rookie season a distant memory and is ready to show off his new and improved body and game.
“Last summer I couldn’t really do anything, just was pretty much out from the jump. This summer I was back on track right after the season, just watching everything I do, watching what I eat, just making sure everything is right for Summer League. I’m continuing more so I can be ready for the season.”
While Anthony Bennett was nothing short of awful last year, he still is a former No. 1 pick, just one year removed from the selection. Hype or not, he’s certainly worth an investment.
