T-Mobile picks on Sprint, again
It’s no secret that Sprint has seen its reputation drop fast over the last few years. In fact, they dropped so much in service and reputation that T-Mobile has now surpassed the company to become the third-ranked wireless provider in the United States.

And to make sure that more people know it, T-Mobile decided to announce a new plan on Thursday that will give customers on its Simple Choice plans a free data plan upgrade if they refer customers from one of the other three major carriers.
Of course, T-Mobile made sure to use Sprint in it’s example.
“Sprint’s customers have suffered much,” T-Mobile wrote to start off the announcement, which even references Sprint in its title . “They’ve endured the Framily. They’ve endured America’s slowest nationwide LTE network. And now again, the (ironically named) carrier has forsaken its loyal customers, offering its latest, “best deals” to everyone but its own current customers. It’s hard to watch.”
The announcement comes just days after Sprint announced new competitive pricing as well as shared data plans of up to 20GB for up to 10 lines. Of course, these new offers are only available to new customers coming over from different carriers.
T-Mobile CEO John Legere added that it shocks him that Sprint continues its failure to listen to its customers, especially the loyal ones.
“That arrogance and indifference has defined the U.S. wireless industry for too long. We’re changing all that. In fact, this entire Un-carrier consumer movement is built on the simple act of listening to customers.”
