Johnny Manziel does first NFL ‘money’ celebration after rushing TD (Video)
By Sam Richmond
Johnny Manizel might have lost the Cleveland Browns starting quarterback gig to Brian Hoyer, but that hasn’t stopped the former Texas A&M standout from showing out.
The Browns quarterback scored his first rushing touchdown of the preseason in Saturday’s preseason contest versus the St.Louis Rams and he was understandably fired up. He even did his famous “money” celebration after the seven-yard rush. It was the first time Manziel has broken out the celebration of his NFL career.

While Hoyer will start Week 1 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, plays like this from Manziel are why many believe the 21-year-old will take over the job at some point. Making plays on the ground is an element of Manziel’s game that Hoyer simply doesn’t possess.
To this point, Manziel has thrown just two passes (one completion) for nine yards in the contest. The touchdown has been his only rushing play on the evening.
The Browns selected Manziel was the No. 22 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft out of A&M. He threw for 4,114 yards and 37 touchdowns this past season.
