The entire college football world was stunned last week with the news that Ohio State senior quarterback Braxton Miller would be done for the entirety of the 2014 college football season after suffering yet another shoulder injury in practice. It was a crushing blow to a team that has some national championship hopes, however Miller did ensure that he would be back in 2015.

On Tuesday, Miller went to see one of the best in the medical business, Dr. James Andrews, to undergo surgery on the injured shoulder, the first step toward that comeback next season.
In the best news since last week, Miller posted a photo from the recovery room after the surgery was completed, while alos noting that everything went about as well as it could have.
"Me & the best to do it , Dr. Andrews after surgery today! So happy this man said everything went well!"
Again, aside from the announcement that he made last week about returning next season for his final season in Columbus, which was supposed to be this season, this is the best news for Ohio State and the Buckeyes fan base within the last seven days. It was exactly one week ago today that it was announced he was done for the season.
Ohio State will open up their 2014 season on Saturday in Baltimore against the Navy Midshipmen. With Miller out, redshirt freshman J.T. Barrett will begin his tenure as the starting quarterback for Ohio State.
