By Josh Hill
The NFL suspended Josh Gordon for an entire year on Wednesday following an independent ruling over his off-field problems this past year.

But now that he’s been suspended for the entire 2014 season, Gordon’s camp is trying to pursue legal action that will get him reinstated into the league before the end of the year. According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reinstatement this season isn’t likely get that accomplished as he has ‘no shot’ thanks to the CBA.
"One league source familiar with such NFL cases said “he has no shot of having the suspension overturned in court. It’s over.”The source said Gordon has no case, because the collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and the NFLPA will trump any involvement by the courts."
It’s something that the Browns will want to see resolved as well, especially after they seemed to be miffed at the league for allowing Gordon to be suspended so close to the regular season and with such little time to find a replacement. But the year long ban will likely hold up and that’s bad news for all involved.
