And don’t worry, you weren’t the only one without it.
For nearly four hours on Wednesday morning, nearly all of Time Warner Cable’s Internet customers were unable to access the paid service. This was caused by an issue inside the company’s service structure.
TWC issued a statement shortly after services had started to be restored to customers nationwide.
“At 4:30 a.m. ET this morning during our routine network maintenance, an issue with our Internet backbone created disruption with our Internet & On Demand services. As of 6 a.m. ET services were largely restored as updates continue to bring all customers back online.”

As of this posting, there are still many customers without service, mostly in the Northeast. You can view a constantly updated service outage map via DownDetector.
The latest update from Time Warner Cable came via a tweet around 7am stating, “We’re working to restore services to all areas as quickly as possible; no ETR. Tweets will be delayed while this is addressed.”
