By Josh Hill
The Denver Nuggets have a decision to make with one of the best rising big men int he game today, as forward Kenneth Faried needs a new contract or needs to be traded by the end of the next year.

But while there seems to be a big payday in the near future for Faried, the Nuggets might not be the team who give it to him, as a trade has become an option in resolving the issue of getting him a new deal.
Last year Faried’s name came up in trade rumors but he let that all roll off of him and didn’t let any of it bother him. Still, Faried admitted in Spain at the World Cup that no matter how much you try to ignore trade rumors, they still get to you on some level.
The chances that Faried get traded are rather low at this point as there is no one on the block worth trading Faried for. There could be some discussion about Rajon Rondo but the Nuggets haven’t been involved there and any talk of swapping Faried for Kevin Love is dead as well.
Denver will work on trying to re-sign Faried but have another year left on his deal to wait and see what happens.
