Have you thought about getting a tattoo on your face just to keep a job? Sounds like some rather strange logic, though it’s exactly what St. Louis Rams rookie Ethan Westbrooks decided to do.

The defensive lineman ended up making the St. Louis Rams roster and was essentially the man who was picked to remain on the franchise’s roster over Michael Sam. That may be a fact that sticks with him for a while, though it’s face tattoo that will remain with him for the rest of his career, especially the reason behind it.
Westbrooks explained the face art in an interview with ESPN.
“I was just like I might as well go ahead and get it on the face because if nothing else, it will help motivate me to either be a guy that has a tattoo on his face looking for another job or hopefully I make it in the NFL and don’t have to work too hard to do something (else),” Westbrooks said. “I don’t feel it’s a bad thing now. I don’t regret it. It speaks for itself.”
If you’re having trouble following that, don’t worry, you’re not alone.
However, what Ethan Westbrooks appears to be suggesting is that the face tattoo will hopefully keep him motivated to retain a job in he NFL considering there aren’t a ton of employment opportunities available to those with ink on their cheek.
The undrafted rookie from Division II West Texas A&M decided the famed “Laugh now, Cry later” image complete with a picture of a happy and sad clown face would be the perfect compliment to his journey to the NFL.
