But now with a handful of quick offensive weapons, not only are the Green Bay Packers prepared to give Rodgers more control than ever, they also plan to run a ‘fast-paced’ offense this season.
That’s the word from NFL insider Ian Rapoport who was told by a scout the new Green Bay Packers offense will make it hard for opposing defenses to prepare.
Might that be on exhibit on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks? You bet it will.
What will #Packers offense look like tonight? Sources tell me they’re giving Aaron Rodgers more control than ever. It’ll be fast-paced.

I’m not sure unveiling your ‘new’ faster-paced offense against the stout defense of the Seattle Seahawks is the preferred option of the Green Bay Packers, though it’s doubtful they’ll have a better test all season.
For what it’s worth, Rapoport goes on to suggest that the implementation of the Green Bay Packers new offensive system was supposed to take part last season. However, Aaron Rodgers’ injury derailed such an idea considering it was Rodgers who would be given the keys.
Should be interesting to see how it works out, though with Aaron Rodgers captaining the ship, you have to think it’ll be a success. I mean, his most recent commercial with Hans and Franz from SNL was.
