Calvin Johnson responds to Walter Thurmond: ‘I have to use the restroom’

Giants CB Walter Thurmond pricked up a few ears with his remarks to the Newark Star-Ledger about superstar wide receiver Calvin Johnson and his weaknesses.

In case you forgot, here’s what Thurmond said about Johnson:

"“Everyone knows he’s a talented guy, you know, but being a big receiver, he has some weaknesses for sure,” Thurmond said. “Being able to get in and out of his cuts and breaks and stuff. Of course, he’s good with yards after the catch and jump balls, but there is no perfect receiver. Everyone has some weaknesses and it’s about understanding what those weaknesses are, watching film and exposing them.”"

On Friday, Johnson was asked to respond to Thurmond’s remarks and offered this:

Something appears to have loosened up Calvin Johnson’s bowels, and it may be Walter Thurmond’s remarks about his weaknesses. Or maybe it was that bran muffin he had for breakfast.

Calvin can use his time sitting on the can to dream up ways of pantsing Walter Thurmond or whatever corner ends up covering him Sunday.

That’s the hell of it for Walter Thurmond: it’s not just him out there, it’s everyone on the Giants secondary. Calvin isn’t going to care which corner or safety he torches. He’s going to try to kill all of them.

If Calvin goes for 250 against the Giants, the whole team can get together and tell Walter Thurmond what a bozo he is.
