Stone, who most recently played for the Toronto Raptors is apparently scheduled to have his second visit with the Los Angeles Lakers this week and will also reportedly meet with the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers in the near future.
It’s also possible that Julyan Stone will meet with the Sacramento Kings as well, though that’s currently not confirmed.
"Stone also has scheduled workouts with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Heat, sources said, attempting to solidify an NBA contract before training camps start. The Sacramento Kings remain a possible landing spot for Stone.Stone held a workout with the San Antonio Spurs earlier in the week, and he’s received two lucrative offers from Chinese clubs."
A 6’6 point guard who can play multiple positions, Stone went undrafted out of UTEP though joined the Denver Nuggets come the 2011-12 season to much fan fare. However, he didn’t fit in the Nuggets rotation given they were competing for a title run and Stone eventually found his way to the Toronto Raptors where he played in 21 games last season.
Stone hasn’t produced at the NBA level as of yet though hasn’t exactly been given much of a chance to do so.
It’s not known as to what team is currently in the lead for Julyan Stone’s services though he certainly has no shortage of suitors.
