Last week, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon learned his appeal had been denied by arbitrator Harold Henderson and that the year-long suspension handed down for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy would stand.

Gordon could have decided to sue the NFL and that would have allowed him to play until the case played itself out, but that is not a move he is ready to make.
According to ESPN.com, Gordon has no plans to sue the league.
“The whole being in limbo thing, I’m over it,” Gordon said, via ESPN.com. “I’m not waiting on the edge of my seat anymore.”
There is still a chance that Gordon could see the field this season, thanks to the NFL and NFLPA negotiating a new drug policy. If that goes through, Gordon and other players who have been suspended could find their suspensions wiped clean.
Whether or not that happens remains to be seen.
