For El Tri, the friendlies will give manager Miguel Herrera a chance to look at a new crop of players.
Ten of the players who will be suiting up for Mexico on Saturday night were not members of the World Cup roster. Andres Guardado will be wearing the captain’s armband for El Tri, with veteran defender Rafael Marquez not in the lineup.
Chile star Alexis Sanchez will be suiting up for the match.
