Milwaukee Bucks feel Jared Dudley can have big impact
By Bryan Rose
It’s been a while since the Milwaukee Bucks were considered an elite team in the NBA’s Eastern Conference though with a potential superstar now on the roster in Jabari Parker, there is a renewed hope within the organization.

No, success won’t come overnight for the Milwaukee Bucks but the franchise does feel their recent acquisition of Jared Dudley will help the team mature and will provide leadership to a youthful roster.
Such was suggested by head coach Jason Kidd who couldn’t help but praise the veteran swingman. Dudley was traded to Milwaukee by the Los Angeles Clippers last week.
“When you look at a veteran coming from winning programs – Phoenix, the Clippers – that’s important,” Kidd said. “When I talked to him, he talked about learning from Grant Hill and what it means to be a professional.
“We need that in the locker room as much as we need him to be himself on the court by defending and knocking down threes and being part of the team.”
Jared Dudley isn’t a star by any stretch though he can fill up the box score given his versatile game. Knee injuries have reduced his stock though it wasn’t very long ago when Dudley was a high profile free agent drawing interest from a handful of premier organizations.
It’s not known as to what type of role Jared Dudley will be given this season, though he should figure to get a solid amount of playing time as the Bucks aren’t exactly deep. Dudley should also help mentor the aforementioned Jabari Parker, part of the reason the Milwaukee Bucks likely brought in the veteran.
