On Thursday night Richard Sherman and his Seattle Seahawks laid the hammer down on the Green Bay Packers, coming away with an impressive 36-16 victory.

The overly talkative Sherman once again made headlines, though it wasn’t due to his impressive play but rather his mouth as he essentially taunted Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers once the game came to a conclusion.
Rodgers and the Packers appeared to avoid throwing at Sherman throughout the evening who was covering wide receiver Jarrett Boykin as he finished the tilt without a catch. Still, Boykin wasn’t impressed with his counterpart as he suggested the Stanford product is ‘beatable’.
“I mean he’s a smart corner but I don’t see him any different than any other corner,” said Boykin, a 24-year-old out of Virginia Tech. “He’s beatable.”
That of course won’t sit well with Richard Sherman who is known to bark loudly at the smallest hint of criticism. That all said, it’s not as if Jarrett Boykin said anything incorrect. Yes, Richard Sherman, just like every other player in the NFL can be beaten. Granted, it’s not something that will happen often though it’s not as if Boykin suggested Sherman was a sub-par defender or didn’t do a good job covering Boykin.
Sherman will likely take the comment as a slight and a response seems inevitable, though it didn’t appear as if Boykin was really attempting to take a shot at Sherman. Still, given the zero catch performance, the comment will come off as sour grapes and makes Boykin look rather salty in the end.
