Thanks to an injury in the early portions of the game, the Chicago Bears were already without wide receiver Alshon Jeffery against the Buffalo Bills.

They may now be without fellow star wideout Brandon Marshall who was forced from action after his leg was bent awkwardly during a tackle by Buffalo linebacker Brandon Spikes.
Marshall was clearly in some pain after he stood up from the tackle and immediately made his way to the Chicago Bears sideline where he was examined by the training staff.
Everything looked relatively normal on Marshall’s reception though he was brought down from behind which forced his body to turn and land on top of his defender. In the process, Spikes came in while Marshall and his defender were tangled up and made sure the tackle was completed.
Unfortunately in the process the momentum from the tackle trapped Brandon Marshall’s leg temporarily and it can be seen bending awkwardly in the below video.
The hit, which was to the helmet of Brandon Marshall (another reason he likely needed to go to the sideline) was the second personal foul on the day for Spikes who has garnered a bit of a reputation for not playing within the rules.
Thankfully it appears that Brandon Marshall avoided any significant injury as he just returned to the field and doesn’t appear to be favoring his leg.
