The NFL season is set to kick off this afternoon around the country but not everyone that made the 53-man rosters will be suiting up to start the year.

The Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills are opening up their season against one another but a handful of players will be taking it easy on the sidelines and have been ruled inactive for today’s game. On the Bills side of things, the biggest name is rookie offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, who will not be making his debut in the NFL against the Bears.
On the other side of the field, the Bears have no inactives to report, as everyone who is healthy is ready to play.
Here’s a look at the early inactives for the Bears and Bills:
Buffalo Bills Injuries
Bryce Brown | RB | Inactive
Stephon Gilmore | CB | Inactive
Cyrus Kouandjio | OT | Inactive
Jonathan Meeks | DB | Inactive
Cyril Richardson | OG | Inactive
Jacquies Smith | DE | Inactive
Lee Smith | TE | Inactive |
Chicago Bears Injuries
No Inactive Players to report.
This is a game that both teams need as the collapse at the end of the season for the Bears in 2013 was devastating to the confidence of the team while the Bills just need to win to prove that they are indeed capable of doing so.
