Although preseason is over for those in the NFL, that may not be the case for camera operators working at major broadcast networks.

Sure, they’ve likely trained their eye during local broadcasts in the weeks leading up the the regular season, though it appears one camera operator handling the Miami Dolphins game against the New England Patriots wasn’t paying overly close attention to what he was capturing.
With a hat tip to Deadspin, here we have a very proud Miami Dolphins fan cheering on his team. That doesn’t seem out of the ordinary of course, until you look at his rather wrinkled t-shirt which had a special message for all those at home watching.

‘Miami F—ing Florida’ is the script on the teal colored shirt.
It appeared as if those producing the the NFL game didn’t notice the blunder either as they didn’t immediately cut away from the shot featuring the Miami Dolphins fan, though in fairness that was likely a rather difficult thing to spot in the couple seconds it was being broadcast.
More interesting is how that man made it into the stadium with the t-shirt on. It’s possible he wasn’t wearing it when he entered the venue and put it on once he got to his seat, though he’s likely to draw a significant amount of attention and may be forced to change it. Obviously the Miami Dolphins wouldn’t allow such if they knew what the man was wearing.
If only his lanyard was a few inches shorter.
