Ravens RB Justin Forsett ‘looks to be starter’ vs Steelers
By Sam Richmond
The Baltimore Ravens best running back during its Week 1 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals was Justin Forsett. The 26-year-old managed 70 yards on 11 carries and completely out-shined Bernard Pierce (six carries for 14 yards), who started the game.

Now, it appears Forsett will get rewarded for his solid performance.
ESPN’s Jamison Hensley said on SportsCenter on Monday that he believes Forsett will be the starting tailback when Baltimore takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.
This shouldn’t comes as too big of a surprise, given Forsett’s big day and the fact that Pierce has been trending downwards for sometime now. Pierce rushed for just 436 yards on 152 attempts in 2013 with Baltimore.
Coach John Harbaugh also spoke highly of Forsett following the season-opening loss, according to Hensley.
"“Justin did a great job,” Harbaugh said. “He has been playing that way all since he got here, all through offseason and training camp. He proved it in the game.”"
If he can continue to perform at a high level for the next few weeks, he might just be able to secure the starting job for the rest of the season.
Forsett, who was drafted in the seventh round by the Seattle Seahawks in 2008, had just six rushing attempts in 2013 with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
