The NFL and the Baltimore Ravens have finally reacted appropriately to the Ray Rice situation only after actual footage of the assault he carried out was released.

But now that the footage is out there, Rice is having to deal with punishment not only from his current professional colleagues but also those from his past who are disowning him. One of those groups disowning and distancing themselves from Rice is his alma mater Rutgers.
Keith Sargeant from NJ.com reports that Rutgers will be removing Rice from their ‘Knights in the NFL’ video montage due to very obvious reasons.
"According to school officials, Rice will be removed from the video starting with this Saturday’s game against Penn State and beyond because Rice is “not currently a player” on an NFL roster."
The fallout from the incident took too long to happen but it’s a nuclear winter when it comes to how Rice is being perceived by those who know and have known him over the years. The footage speaks for itself and it’s something that has left many around the league and from Rice’s past speechless with disappointment and disgust.
