The iWatch price and release date have officially been announced. The announcement came at a special Apple press conference on Tuesday afternoon outside of the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, Calif.

We learned that the iWatch will be available in early 2015, though a specific date was not provided.
As for the price, it will begin with the cheapest model of the wearable technology at $349.
There is one catch, however.
In order to use an iWatch, you will need to have an iPhone 6.

When you get a notification on the brand new iWatch, it will feel similar to a tap on the wrist.
It will charge with a magnet attached to the back.
The iWatch was a highly-anticipated device as people waited for Apple to dip their toes into wearable technology and it certainly looks like it will be a great device.
