While a handful of NBA teams are said to be interested in signing point guard Zoran Dragic, it appears three have emerged as the most aggressive in attempting to bring the talent stateside.

More from Indiana Pacers

The younger brother of Phoenix Suns point guard Goran Dragic, Zoran has expressed a desire to play in the NBA this season and according to Marc Stein the the Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings and aforementioned Phoenix Suns are the most aggressive in their attempts sign Zoran Dragic.

Dragic, given his FIBA World Cup obligations are now over, is said to be ready to discuss a contract.

Indiana, Phoenix and Sacramento aren’t alone in their pursuit of Zoran Dragic as the Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs have all been linked to the young guard though apparently aren’t courting the Sloveanian as hard. The Houston Rockets were also said to have significant interest in Dragic in the recent past.

If Zoran Dragic is to join the NBA ranks, he’ll need to do so quickly as its been said his contractual buyout will increase if not signed to a roster by October 5th, the rush is on for those interested.

Phoenix, Indiana and Sacramento all have the ability to give Zoran Dragic more than a minimum level salary so their interest appears to be well warranted and legit.
