The Baltimore Ravens beat the Pittsburgh Steelers with authority on Thursday night, cruising to an easy victory by a final score of 26-6 at M&T Bank Stadium.

More from Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore outclassed the Steelers in every facet of this game, from running the ball to passing the ball to stifling the Pittsbugh offense throughout the course of the night. For all of that success as the Ravens put together an easy win, it was defensive tackle Haloti Ngata who put an exclamation mark on the victory.

The Steelers looked like they were driving the field for a garbage-time touchdown in the closing minutes, to the joy of fantasy football owners everywhere. With the ball down in the Baltimore red zone, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger looked for receiver Antonio Brown on a short crossing pattern.

Enter Ngata, who batted the ball into the air and then hauled in an outstanding diving interception:

Ngata is simply a freak athlete; he is one of the strongest men in the NFL, while he is also athletic enough at 340 pounds to make plays like this one and run down unsuspecting running backs and receivers.

The Ravens were desperate for a victory on Thursday, lest they start the season 0-2 and with two losses in the division. There were a number of reasons for them to be happy with the results in this game, with this spectacular play from Ngata the parting image of the night.
