This Saturday the Texas Longhorns will look to bounce back from what was a rough outing in Week 2, as they were blanked by the BYU Cougars, 41-7. However, bouncing back will be mighty difficult as they will go into AT&T Stadium in Arlington to take on one of the favorites in the Pac-12, the UCLA Bruins. And you can’t forget, the task is that much more difficult due to the presence of Heisman hopeful QB Brett Hundley.

Hundley is one of the more versatile threats in the nation, and Texas defensive coordinator Vance Beford is more than aware of that.
When recently speaking about the talents of Hundley, Beford went out of his way to compare him to one of the best dual-threats to come through the college ranks, and one of the best in the NFL at the moment, Cam Newton.
“He reminds me a lot of Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers,” Beford said, according to Horns247. “Big, strong, athletic. I must admit, he has one of the best arms I’ve seen. I had a chance to go against (Matt) Stafford when he was at Georgia, (Ryan) Mallett at Arkansas — this kid has that type of arm. The entire field is wide open. He can be on one hash and throw the out-cut, and I tell you what, it’s like a bazooka coming out of there. He’s a special talent.”
Beford would also go on to say that Hundley more than certainly has the tools of anyone in the NFL.
“Watching video of him and I’m like, ‘Man,'” Bedford said, per the report. “He can throw the ball anywhere … he has an NFL arm.”
