Berman reports no further details other than he was indicted. Fox NFL insider Jay Glazer reports Peterson turned himself into police and is fully cooperating with police and was at practice on Friday.
His status for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots is in question according to Glazer, however, which would be a considerable loss for the Vikings and could turn into a prolonged absence pending the results of this investigation.
With indictment Peterson will have to turn himself in and thus his status for this weekend is now unclear

Peterson missed practice on Thursday and no injury was reported for his absence and Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that Peterson looked to be in good spirits at the team facility.
