“I CAN’T BELIEVE IT BABY!” These are the words you can imagine Dick Vitale would say if you brought up the fact that Tim Tebow wasn’t on an NFL roster to him. He tweeted Friday morning, “The more I think about it is hard to believe that @TimTebow is not on an NFL roster ! It is ABSURD!”

Vitale isn’t necessarily the first person to say that, but he’s one of the few.
Tim Tebow had an excellent collegiate career at Florida where he played three full seasons for the Gators and won the Heisman in his sophomore year in 2007 when he had 32 passing touchdowns and 23 rushing touchdowns and then won the BCS National Championship after the 2008 season.
Tebow, 27, was drafted 25th overall in the first round to the Denver Broncos in the 2010 NFL Draft. He’s played 35 career games in the NFL. In 2010, he played nine games with the Broncos and had 654 yards passing and 11 total touchdowns. In 2011, he played 14 games with Denver and had 1,729 yards passing, 12 touchdowns, six interceptions, along with six rushing touchdowns and six fumbles.
Tebow hasn’t played in a game since 2012 with the New York Jets and was cut by the New England Patriots in 2013.
Tebow now is a SEC Network college football analyst and was recently hired by Good Morning America.
