While others had previously speculated that the suspension could be reduced to eight games, the Browns still have to be pleased to even have Gordon at all this season.
With Gordon’s suspension length set, the next step is a vote on the drug policy, which might not be long from now.
Vote on new drug policy is expected to come very soon, source tells me.

Gordon is one of the very best receivers in the game and his eventual return will be an enormous boost. Gordon led the league in receiving yards with 1,646 last season, despite being suspended for the first two game.
The Browns selected Gordon in the second round of the 2012 NFL Supplemental Draft.
